We wanted to get married in a way that felt true to us and in a place that had always been special to us.  Now I get to share it with others.

I worked as a vet tech for years before becoming a photographer.  If you want to know if you can bring your dog to your elopement the answer is yes.  In fact I insist on it.

I care just as much about your experience as i do your photos

I am a photographer first and foremost, but your comfort and your enjoyment of your day is my top priority.  I'll take care of all of the planning and logistics to make sure you have the most incredible time and your elopement is exactly what you dreamed.  All you'll have to do is show up and have the best time.

About Red River Gorge

Red River Gorge is one of the most beautiful spots in Kentucky and my favorite for elopements.  There are sandstone arches, bridges, and waterfalls to explore, as well as Natural Bridge State Park and all of Daniel Boone National Forest.  There's also so many things to do in the area like horseback riding, canoeing, and rock climbing, It's the perfect place to begin you forever adventure, and you'll have all of my expert advice on the best places to go and things to do.

I'll do the location scouting for you and make recommendations based on the type of view you want,  how far you want to hike, time of day, and how private it is.  You just show up and enjoy being in nature

During the planning process I'll send you questionaries to understand what's most important to you as a couple and we'll have calls to go over all of the details and make sure your day is exactly what you want, whether that means a long hike to a remote spot, a relaxing day at your cabin, or even a horseback ride.  I'll make sure your day is exactly what you're dreaming of and is reflective of who you are.

We'll have a quick chat over Zoom.  You can tell me all of the ideas you've been dreaming up for you elopement and get all of your questions answered.

Planning

We'll start the planning process right away.  I'll send you a detailed questionnaire to get an even better idea of what your dream elopement looks like.  I'll use that to create personalized recommendations for you.  Then we'll have a couple more calls to go over the plan, refine it, and make sure it's exactly what you want.

You'll get to show up on your elopement day knowing that all of the planning and the logistics are handled.  You don't have to do anything but enjoy your day and stay present.

On Your Elopement Day

Your elopement can look however you want.  We can pack it with adventure, ride horses, zipline, and hike to waterfalls.  Or, it can be a slow, relaxed day at a cozy cabin with sunset photos at an overlook and pizza at Miguel's.  We'll include any traditions that are important to you and none that aren't.  Your day should reflect who you are as a couple and what is most important to you.  I'll work closely with you during the planning process to make sure of it.

Which Collection is Right for You

I offer different collections based on how many hours of coverage you would like.  I've found over the years that most couples are best served with a minimum of eight hours.  This is just enough time for a more relaxed scheduled that doesn't have you rushing from one activity to the next and covers the entire day from getting ready to vows, family photos, and everything in between.  For couples that want a full day packed with adventure, I recommend at least ten hours.

Albums

I'm a big advocate for printing your photos.  Your memories should not live on a hard drive, and you deserve to have a physical reminder of your elopement that you can hold in your hands and look at each day.  That's why I offer complementary  archival-quality albums in most my collections.  I want you to have a beautiful album to look back on and share with any loved ones who couldn't be there on the day.

Do you photograph elopements in other locations besides Red Rive Gorge?
Yes!  The gorge is my specialty but I'm always happy to travel.

How long does it take to get our photos?
You will receive sneak peaks within 24 hours and your full gallery within 6-8 weeks.

How many photos will we get?
This varies depending on a lot of factors, but usually 50-100 images per hour of coverage.

Can we have guest?
Of course!  It's your day and you deserve to be surround by love and support.

When is payment due?
There is a $1,500 retainer to reserve your date and the balance is due one month before the elopement.

Do you work with same-sex couples?
Yes, absolutely!
